bKash Payment Gateway for Blogger
Built a plug-and-play bKash payment gateway for Blogger sites — secure client-side JS integration with hosted checkout, no backend needed.
Project Overview
I developed a bKash payment gateway integration for Blogger/Google Blogspot — a platform that traditionally lacks backend capabilities. This solution enables blog owners to accept secure bKash payments directly on their Blogger websites without needing a server-side setup.
Blogger is a static XML-based platform with no backend support, which makes integrating payment gateways like bKash extremely difficult. Normally, bKash requires a server environment for sandbox testing and secure transactions.
- Problem 1: No backend → Sandbox integration not possible.
- Problem 2: Blogger’s limitations in handling secure API requests.
- Problem 3: Need for a seamless, user-friendly payment experience without compromising security.
Approach & Process
To overcome these constraints, I created a drop-in JavaScript solution that works entirely on the client side while still ensuring secure transactions via bKash’s hosted payment flow.
- Drop-In Script: A single JS file is included to enable payments.
- No Backend Needed: The solution runs entirely on Blogger’s front-end pages.
- Secure Redirect: Customers are redirected to bKash’s hosted checkout flow to complete payments safely.
Solution Delivered
The final solution is a plug-and-play payment gateway for Blogger that empowers non-technical users to accept bKash payments with minimal setup.
